Assistant Manager

2 days per week (15 hrs) 

Chepstow Shop

Maindee Shop

Clytha Park Shop

£11,479 pro rata

*incl. weekends on a rota basis

 We currently have  three Assistant Manager vacancies within our Maindee, Chepstow and our brand new shop at Clytha Park, Newport.  We are seeking  individuals who are energetic, enthusiastic, committed, highly driven and customer-focused for our well-established shops.  Our 29 charity shops play a vital role in generating income to fund our service.

Your principal duties will include the sorting of donated stock, deputising for the Shop Manager when required, dealing with volunteers and customers, achieving targets for income and controlling shop outgoings whilst ensuring that the shop presents an image, which will promote the work of St. David’s Foundation Hospice Care. Previous Retail experience must be proven and good numerical and management skills are essential.

 The successful applicants must be available to start in September 2010.
