Fundraising
St. David’s Foundation has been providing a ‘Hospice at Home service’ in Newport, Torfaen, Caerphilly and Monmouthshire since 1979. Last year we cared for over 2,500 patients facing a life-threatening illness, their families and carers. At any one time our nurses are caring for over 960 patients. The cost of providing this service, which is free-of-charge to patients and their families, is over £4.6 million per annum. We would not be able to maintain these vital services without the help and support of local people and the business community who have supported St. David’s Foundation Hospice Care so generously.
