Make a Will – Leave a Legacy

Making a Will is one of those things that we always intend to do, but never seem to get around to…but dying without a Will can cause your loved ones more difficulties than you may think. Under the current laws, your spouse may not get everything, and if you are living with someone without being married, they may not get anything at all. Everyone should make a Will and keep it regularly updated.

Do you have something you treasure which you want to pass on to someone special? A Will is the only way that you can be totally assured this will happen.

To assist you in the process of making your Will, a team of local solicitors have joined our ‘Make A Will’ campaign and can help ensure that your wishes are carried out. Making your Will via this scheme is another way you can help us to generate funds to fulfil our aim of “Bringing Care Home” when it’s needed most.

Each of our participating solicitors will donate a percentage of your Will-making fee back to St. David’s Foundation Hospice Care.

If or when the time is right and you would like to make your Will via our ‘Make A Will’ scheme, please contact us to request a leaflet and enquiry form using the form below.

Leave a Legacy

You can also remember us in your Will if you wish – every donation counts towards providing care and support for future generations and all legacies are put to excellent use.

You may choose to leave :

  • a pecuniary legacy – a donation of a specific amount
  • a residuary legacy – all, or a share of, the residue of your estate
  • a specific legacy – a particular item, such as jewellery, furniture or an antique

Legacy income funds 1 in every 20 of our patients – that’s more than 20 people every year. Big or small, each legacy is important.

Some people worry they don’t have much to leave. But every legacy, whatever its size, is dedicated to the provision of hospice care and can make a very important difference in peoples’ lives when it matters most.

So become a part of our future – if or when the time is right, remember us in your Will and support the future of hospice care in South East Wales with a legacy.

Complete the form above if you would like more information regarding Leaving a Legacy.
